With over 18 years of experience as a DJ/M.C & Producer, DJ Ash North has monthly residencies across Cheshire, Lancashire & Merseyside. He regularly releases multi genre music ranging from Hip Hop, Trap, House And UKG( Check out his YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/MischiefMusicGroup). This new release marks an Era as he states ‘My DJ career is forever growing and spreading in different directions’. Incorporating genres and sub genres into one eclectic mix reflects one of his typical DJ sets. ‘The Good Vibez DJ set is approximately 2 hours long, yet my DJ sets usually last around 5 hours, so I had to hand pick the best and freshest new tracks that i’ve heard and played out. So where did it all Start?
We were interested to find out some background information regarding how DJing & music became a Career path.
‘Some of my early opportunities were pirate radio stations in Manchester & University Radio. It all started however, when I was about 6 years old and my parents Hi fi player that featured a turntable, Cassette player and Radio. Creating mixtapes on my parents Hi Fi was the pinnacle for my DJ career. Having the ability to record, remix and playback what I’ve done. Influenced by my brother & Sisters, my early music tastes included House & Soul music as well as popular chart music, regularly watching programs such as Top of the Pops & the Pepsi network charts.
